- Schedule 8 & Controlled Substances Policy: In accordance with clinical safety standards and state regulations, NewTeleDoc Medical doctors do not prescribe Schedule 8 medications (e.g., controlled pain relievers, stimulant medications) or drugs of dependence online.
- Clinical Assessment & Refunds: Fees are paid for the doctor's time and clinical assessment. If a consultation is completed, fees are generally non-refundable. If our GP determines prior to or during the consult that your condition is clinically unsuitable for telehealth and requires urgent emergency or in-person examination, you will be advised accordingly.
- Medicare Rebates: Telehealth rebates apply strictly according to current Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) eligibility criteria. Bulk-billed Mental Health Care Plan consultations are subject to Medicare patient eligibility checks.
